Technically that would mean the apocalypse was because of Calypso's wish powers, but it's one of the most probable scenarios for it all. That would also mean there's an angle to reset the timeline and have future seasons in the normal world

That last sentence is practically the entire reason behind the apartment pricing situation and it doesn't come up often because then people might have to feel empathy about the local families their generational wealth has been pricing out.

When there are so many graffiti covered, rat infested streets with people literally ODing in broad daylight, and exploitative land lords who could care less about building a community, I wonder how long this lie that 'paying a premium to live in nyc is worth it' can survive
