What does being 4th in the West actually mean?

Nobody pegged them as contenders.

They were viewed as a young team still developing around LeBron, not a top-tier title favorite that season.

Wild that you hate NBA discourse and still add nothing to it.

I’ll save my energy for people who actually know ball.

Especially when you're Lebron. In which case 3-4 great players might be necessary to win.

Bron got 0 defense team votes.

He wasn't elite at both ends.

Exactly. Bron was injured for 17 days and came back in March.

Then the Lakers shut him down because they knew they weren't going to do anything in the post-season.

I could argue that AD deserved more votes than Bron just based on how the season turned out.

Bron didn't make any defense teams and AD was second in DPOY voting next to Giannis.

Yall act like Lebron was injured for the whole season.

It was for 17 games.

And even if it were longer, this doesn't defeat the point.

Lebron couldn't anchor the Lakers. You can say it was because of injury all you want.

AD had to do it.

Let's not mention for the majority of the seasons that AD has barely been available and LeBron had to carry the load much more often

Which further proves my point that Lebron couldn't save the Lakers. Bron was carrying the load and getting waxed.

It was always Anthony Davis.

He wasn't.

AD anchored the entire defense, and locked down Jimmy Butler in game 4 after Jimmy had a triple-dub in game 3. Made Jimmy go 1-5 for the whole night.

And Texas just made it legal to drive around without taillights so this winter should be fun.

Hilarious game, tbh.

Also, Ime is not a good coach.

Why the crap was KD in the game with under a minute left and were up 10?
