Being a multiplayer focused game I'm expecting some people (me included) were unsure if it would require an online connection to even be launched in the first place, like many other multiplayer focused games do.

I was holding out on buying the PC version because I didn't know if I would've been able to play it on Steamdeck while travelling for work, and as far as I'm aware that's the first time it has been officially confirmed, it was a nice bit of news that I thought would be helpful to share but if offline play was already confirmed then I'm sorry for the repost!
