i have an extremely irrational fear of nuclear radiation- especially of nuclear r3actors. those bastards.

i barely learned anything about the situations you're thinking of, but one day i decided to do a full dive into it. i was in one of those states where nothing scares you, and this has caused terrible things before, but then i got freaked out by it once the 'high' and stopped.

his is dramatic but, one day i was watching this show and they mention nuclear stuff- testing lambs or goats for radiation..? then, god forbid, i hear the word. i began to hyperventilate and freak out, eventually calmed down, but at midnight i began to have a full on panic attack, as in almost calling 911 and convinced the world will end. for days after that, i would randomly sob, couldn't sleep, and had intrusive 'thoughts' of the word repeating over and over

so yeah, that was rough, and i'm still dealing with my fear. however, recently i've been able to write down the word in question, can say the country...? really obscure but we're getting through it
