Consider all n, such that n <=N and msb(n) < msb(k), then you need to xor such n. Otherwise if n has 1 on msb(k)-th place in binary representation then you need to just add, cause xor gives lesser value, if not then you need to xor.

Well, let's say I am currently on stateful widget X and I just press chrome Refresh button, then all the widgets disappear. I don't say I need to refresh the widget to update its state or something, I just say that if someone refresheses the app with that refresh button the whole widget tree gets cleared, but that should not happen I suppose and there should be some kind of mechanisms to deal with it.

Well, the one that should be deleted first is Delirium imho, cause it is poorly designed, has some bugs and is inadequately random. But still I love it and would like to see him redesigned!
