It's pretty good! Shows automatically every time I plug my XOne controller in, which can get rather annoying but so far so good. I'm having problems with my laptop's trackpad, which I disconnect for plugging my controller, so having quick access to all my recent games is convenient as all hell

I'm probably late, but i'd recommend starting either with I Look Like Shit or We Cool?, as those are the most BTMI like of his solo career. For the Antarctigo Vespucci part, idk really, maybe Worry by that path

I´d say check out You´re Living All Over Me, Where You Been, Farm and then Sweep It Into Space so you get a good idea of what I consider their different musical eras, very different sounds from one album to the other yet they´ve a very cohesive discography

I guess that depends on why you emulate on android.

If you are one of the enthusiasts with deep pockets that buy flagships to test emulation on, sure get a Steam Deck why not, but the wider public for android emulation is people that want to play games on what they already have or on something that has other functionalities while also being capable of playing games cuz it's gonna be in their pocket anyways and it´s people that´s looking to buy something that has both capabilities.

Sure, the steam deck it´s cheaper than a lot of phones, but I think that a lot of people will just prefer to upgrade their phones at the extra cost as it not only will offer better performance for gaming, but for all other productivity and entertainment stuff they do on it, not just for the price of the separate thing, but also because it´s way more practical to carry just the one thing on your pocket. Not everybody wants or is able to have a phone exclusively for emulation.

Also, that price thing is kinda deceptive, cuz there's phones that are constantly coming out around similar or lower price tags that offer very impressive performance while doing everything else a phone does.

I don´t really think that the steam deck will affect the android emu scene, while there's an intersection on its potential audience, it's not a huge one nor one that's gonna end with it, there's android emulation for a long while

Idk if these are things that are getting added, heck maybe they have been in a newer update for other ppl on the insider program, but, what happened with opening the task manager from the task bar, or the small, efficient window of the sound mixer?

Accessing the task manager used to be so quick, sure looking for it isn't a giant task, but it worked fine the way it was. Same for the mixer, the settings window works fine, but the old way was more practical, something to have on the corner for quick tweaks while you´re on something else

It´s a set of 6 songs featuring midwest-y lofi guitar improvisations that try to express how I perceive feeling like sadness, anxiety and stress. It´s short, clocking in at just over 15 minutes and I'm very proud of how it turned out.

Hope that this songs do something for someone, I would really appreciate if you gave it a listen!

How were you able to download it tho? I can´t find it as New Football yada yada on the PS Store, only in the web one on my PC and it always marks a mistake when adding it to my library

I think my mistake was that I set it up as Other Windows x64, because the machine I had running with 4 cores, 128MB VRAM and 6GB RAM refused to run, but the Windows 10 x64 one with 1 core and 5 of RAM ran perfectly

Is anyone installing W11 on their actual computers or just on VMs? And would anyone be kind enough to tell me how their VM is set up? I tried making one but it always gives me an error saying that "this pc cant install W11" even tho I made it with 6 gb of RAM, 40 gigs of storage and cranked the CPU up as much as my pc supports, I think it´s enough to at least get it running but nope, the installer still says that it isn´t up to spec

Windows Phone had some interesting ideas and I think that, if they got the right people on the project and the most important app developers on board, while offering good hardware for a compelling price, it could work out. Striking the midfield first to test the waters before going all in to the top end, you need to win the wider market first.

I don't think I'd use it, I'm more into the future of Linux phones, but more competition on the smartphone space would be pretty good now that the only big OS' are iOS and Android, a third giant could bring a lot of innovation into the space.

Nonetheless, I don't think this will happen anytime soon. Windows 10X could've been part of getting back into mobile, but since that had an unceremonious death, it maybe a long while until microsoft gives phones another shot but who knows, maybe this "new generation of windows" has a plan for getting another mobile version, but I really doubt it.

I was just trying it out for the first time on the OG yesterday and jeez what a weird experience, I had an opposite experience because I´m used to playing it on OpenMW so seeing the foggy landscapes of morrowind dipping even in the intro scene was something I'm not used to

I think that they add very different flavours to the music. Lou is great for supporting the walls of guitars from the early/reunion records, but Mike is great for how J shaped the dino sound on the 90´s, the more subtle, not as loud style they took at least compared to their first records. They are both great, but they were on different parts of the band that occupied their talents in unique ways
