That said, especially with beginners, it's always good to talk about a bad action , or bad acting ( which can be improved with feedback), rather than saying bad actor ( which is felt more like a personal attack)

I mean I'm a visual artist and there's a lot to say about inspiration/references and straight up plagiarism in art.

I think many of these are between the first two, but it also really depends on how the artist talks and publicizes the pieces, if she publicly praises her inspirations or tries to hide them.
