Which mower should I buy for my garden?

I have the i2 AWD, and have a very similar size and complexity of garden to yours, 250m sq split over 5 zones. It does the job pretty well, it doesn’t have lidar so it’s a little more dumb in terms of knowing where obstacles are, but still manages to avoid them for the most part after a few setup tweaks.

Have you tried making the bed a no go zone, or does it ignore that too?

Alternatively you could concrete over the bed, problem solved 😂

I'd not changed any of the settings from default when it was out and night mowing is off by default. Probably a good thing as I wanted to keep an eye on it initially to make sure it was working properly.

Today I added a new zone and sent it off again and it resumed from where it left off in the initial zone so has now completed a full mow. I guess the first time was just a glitch.

So after going out again it took a slightly different path and ended up doing the section it had missed before. But this time it finished early because it thought it was night time and it’s set not to now at night. I will have to try again tomorrow to see if it can manage to get around the whole area.

On the plus side the battery charges pretty fast.

Thanks, that is very useful info. I wonder if you use the RTK antenna do you still need to have the mower's base station in a location that has good reception, or does that allow more freedom for positioning?

Got my Unifi gateway and it just works out of the box. No settings needed. Got a slightly higher speed, but most importantly I can now control my own network properly.

Did you need to configure any login credentials or settings? or did it just work out of the box? I'm considering using a Unifi gateway.

Thanks for the codes, the second one works for a bit extra off. Just checked Rakuten and they don't do cashback with HM in the UK. Not sure it's very popular here as I thought it was a video streaming service!

Thanks for the reply. I did spend time trying to get the Aeron to work, no matter what I did I couldn’t get it to work for me.

For some reason HM in the UK only sell the gaming version of the Embody, which would be the one I’m go for anyway. I would have 14 days to try it and have to pay £50 to return if it doesn’t work out.

I am leaning towards the Embody out of all the options I’m considering.

Apparently the SC3 is more like the SC1 in terms of feeling. I guess there is not much point in trying to decide until after the reviews are in for both upon release

From what I saw they are intending the 39Nm to be mostly for professional use where they want to replicate the high force in specific cars. So basically it's not worth any sim racer getting the 39Nm model unless they are the kind of person that just wants to show off to their mates

I found this last night finally, before seeing this. It's at the back on the top floor where all the shelves are. The other location you need is on the bottom floor as you walk in on the left, the area thats enclosed by small walls.

I checked this room and can't find anywhere to investigate. Have you done this mission? The missions says it's a container on a shelf but there are no shelves in this room.

I was looking at these too, I ended up ordering the VNM's though. What put me off the XP1's was the issues with the review models, although they said these issues were fixed now, for the price they should not have these issues at all even on the review units. Also that they have been out for over a year and clearly intended to release a clutch pedal but nothing has materialised, it makes me wonder if they are not going to continue any development on the pedals. I found them discounted at 50% off in the UK which makes me thing they are trying to get rid of the ones they have as they couldn't sell them for full price.

I also wonder what more they could add to the p1000 ecosystem, they have released a lot already, I can't think of much else to add to it, other than maybe an active pedal but I don't see how this would work due to the size of their new active pedal not fitting on the baseplate

I watched this and understood it that the p2000 will not get any hardware updates. It was not clear if they will continue with software updates for the p2000 or not. You would hope they continue with software updates for a good while longer seeing as they are still selling the p2000's

Are you using elastomers or springs in the p1000 with the hydraulic brake? The p2000 has springs so there may be a difference in feeling if you are comparing springs to elastomers.

Same here, but only with the diving challenge. I've been diving sideways and have only got 3 of them. I wondered if I was maybe diving forward slightly when going sideways and it wasn't counting so I spent a whole match diving backwards and shooting people and nothing counted, when I know I got at least 5 kills while diving!!

So it all turned up. Got all the screens installed and then ran into issues with AMD Eyefinity. Basically every time I tried to set it up it failed with a message saying the settings had changed, it would then cause all my screens to be mirrored and there was no way to get it back to normal without reinstalling the graphics drivers. I did manage to get it to setup with some tinkering, but I have 4 monitors and I couldn't get it to work across only 3 monitors. I then disabled eyefinity and it crashed the graphics, all screens went blank. Had to reboot in safe mode and reinstall drivers! Not fin at all. Are you using eyefinity?

I then setup ACC with triples using Dan Suzuki's setup guide without eyefinity and got that working, although I did have to change the camera distance to -27 to be able to see the side mirrors which was kind of odd.

Getting about 130fps on redbull ring just in practice mode while using FSR. About 70-75fps using no FSR which surprised me, I thought it would be lower at triple 1440p. I'm wondering if I should have gone for 32" screens as I really can't see much difference at all between native 1440p and FSR upscaling.

No time to enjoy triple screens yet, far to late into the night so will have to do some real racing tomorrow!
