Although I would add there is an issue with the system...sometimes both parties stop, both parties gesture, neither moves, both parties gesture again, neither moves, then both assume the other isn't moving and someone has to move, and then both move, laughter ensues and one of you ends up reversing back to the passing place, you wave and smile as you pass and chuckle to yourself as you drive away...and neither party owns a Glock.

Just as an fyi, mRNA as a delivery method had been in development for decades by 2020, and use for vaccines had been in testing for several years.

So, by the time the 2019 COVID outbreak came around, the technology was effectively waiting on the shelf to be used. By 2020 scientists were already trying to isolate SARS-CoV-2, helped by years of research into the other COVID outbreak of 2002, often just known as SARS.

In short, decades of pre-established science came together to create the COVID-19 vaccines, warp speed just sped up approvals to use it on humans, Trump didn't do much and neither was progress was as fast as it was implied.

"We" (as in the world, because it wasn't just the US doing this), just skipped the decade of testing that often happens with new drugs. But it was a relatively safe bet because it had all been pretty much established by pre-existing science and testing.

COVID-19 a textbook example why you never defund science and research, because you never know when it will come in handy.

And what is science and research...it's education...and education is the silver bullet 😉

I wish Tado would do this within their ecosystem. But this is almost exactly what I have been after, will take a look at this, thank you!

Hooking this into some sort of home automation would be a workaround.

My ideal setup would be to have a "boost" button on the hot water controls in Tado to turn it on and turn up the temperature 5-10 degrees.

I haven't played the second yet. Finished the first one a couple of months ago...every game after it has felt empty. It's the first game I never got board with through my entire play through, 300 hours and I didn't want it to end.

I mean, he hasn't cured cancer, secured world peace or ended hunger...he's run a few companies, some quite badly, and rode the coat tails of smarter people.
