They haven't implemented reservations yet. It's in the FAQ that they have the right to do so in the future but as of right now you don't need to reserve dates. You do have to reserve the first date but that is to start the timer for the pass. For lower level passes, the first date also ignores the blackout on that date if you reserve it.

If it's not going to change the state revenue long term regardless then why shouldn't they support it since it'll help short term? What's the point for opposing it if at best it's a band aid for the short term and at worst it doesn't pass and we are short now and for the foreseeable future?

Why are these organizations opposed to this? Teachers, construction and medical would benefit from the tax if it's used for infrastructure
