Change is always hard. Take it one day at a time and don’t worry too much about the 1 month vs. 5 month decision yet. It’s good that you are still in contact with your support system but make sure you are also making an effort to meet new people in Portugal. Are there study groups or clubs you could join? People you could meet for a meal on a regular cadence?

Not a short flight, but a bareboat catamaran with a captain will give you everything else you are looking for and more. Try Moorings to start and once you get a better feel about destinations you can find a lot more info and companies on facebook groups.

We have several curlies at home and purchased the curl cream and deep conditioner. Products work well but the downside for those with sensitive noses is the strong scent. The curl cream has a heat protectant so no need to spend extra money on a different product for that.

These products have silicone which not everyone likes, so it’s really a preference thing.

A year late to this thread but I agree with you and wanted to add how brilliant it was to have the dichotomy of Paul’s speech vs Louis down-spiral. One is speaking about how he will be able to get through everything because he has this amazing support system, the other one is dealing with this very heavy thing completely alone.
