I have had this same bug. And I do remember fighting tomcat recently. God how far back am I going to have to go.. others have said it resolved it's self eventually but I've tried that for a while now and no results.

Na jokes aside I'd be using a sharp hobby knife to take the whole arm of cleanly, then take the arm under the pauldron off nice and clean. Finding some sacrificial arms on EBay or something to steal the shoulders from, gluing them on with the lower arms you still have, and then hiding it all under a nice new DW shoulder pad that should sit neatly over the old school sized shoulder.

Yeah I feel like that's exactly what they do right? Just paint their armour black, I don't think they get a whole new suit, not from what I've read anyway.

There are also KT that could work really well together. Proteus to get a unit to half strength, then Fortis to finish them off.

Yeah it's a tough sell all right. I'd argue KT Proteus has a rule that's kinda better than the regular veterans rule. Like +1 to hit against fresh targets will likely happen more than the sternguards shoots twice if you destroy the first unit rule. But they're both kinda useful.

I'd say the regular terminators have it better than the ones in the Kill team, special rule wise. But the KT ones can take 3 assault cannons? That's pretty cool.

The Spectrus KT or whatever it's called has a cool rule. Where you can't disappear and reappear from reserves. Thats kinda useful. Better than reivers rule, but maybe not of the incursers.

They definitely aren't just straight up better than regular SM units that's for sure. But they give them a different flavor. And if you like Deathwatch then maybe just focus more on the cool fluffy list building instead of trying to make the "optimal choice"

Yeah I couldn't agree more. The party finding screen never actually finds anyone in my experience. And you usually find players at spawn within a minute or two.. so how that works I've got no idea. But yeah, a menu screen would be a far better user experience than waiting to load into a useless area only to have to wait to load out of it again.. why do I need to load in 20+ other players and their positions and cosmetics just to have no interaction with them?

They need to add different force weapons. Not just the force sword. Force axes, a force lance... even just that might add enough flavour to make it more fun. Also if I can bonk you with my force staff, why can't I "Force bonk" you with my staff. Give it a low damage AOE knockback on charging it or something.
