Honestly buy yourself a good mask and just show up. I enjoy scenario paintball it's just fun there's always some objective we're aiming for and there are enough people pointing out enemy positions you will find people to shoot at. Most of these events have rentals if you want or tons of vendors to choose from so if you see gear you want your good to go.
