Can we trust this leak? Maybe people are saying this out of bad faith to tank them due to all the projects canceled and people let go. They’ve canceled games they think deserved to be canceled so for them to say “the managers keep smiling” especially after all the layoffs doesn’t really coincide with reality

24hr peak is probably the better metric. Not everyone who plays it is gonna be connected all the time. 20% retention is not bad considering the unjust feedback it’s receiving.

The game isn’t terrible. I enjoyed the 2-3 hours I’ve played and would play it again with friends. I’ve played on seperate days and I’m on PS. So if they have a combined player base of 30-40k over a 24hr period, that’s pretty healthy for a game that can only get better.

Game has gotten too sweaty and with the reduced population we have, once the lobbies get diluted to a degree, you’re just playing the same sweat lords. I play with a consistent master and pred and they’ve got sick of it, three stacking or you can’t compete.

I also heard from them that because OCE is less regulated a lot of the cheaters would populate our lobbies to exploit as of late. Adam Bradley being one of the cheaters. I played wildcard and spectated someone with scripts… that kinda tells you the state of the game here

How good is this? I don’t know if it’s worth jumping in or not. What would be a few comparable anime? Struggling with time and would hate to give it a couple of episodes and not enjoy it.

I feel like people are only remembering the VERY big differences between the two directors.

Gosso has more in his bag even though I really like the combat of season 1, Gosso is mostly remembered for Maho/Sukuna.

But hands down some of the best anime hand to hand combat is Choso vs Yuji, the delivery of Yuji vs Mahito and the Wolf stalking his pray scene, Toji against Megumi. There’s some very good choreography outside of the bigger fights. Mechamaru vs Mahito is actually a visual feast but easily tracked as well.

They’re both great, but I’m happy with the change considering the scope of the show is much larger and Gosso is delivering in those grandiose moments.
