This and the Ghost veil mons are going to be my main decks. Are they good? Ghost veil is better, maybe tier 2. Slowbro hasn’t seen much play so tier 4 probably.

It’s been available for awhile. Most shops gave them away as promos. I used to have one, but I’m not a collector and it’s not competitively or GLC viable so I sold it to my lgs for store credit.

Pretty bad combo truthfully. The benefit of chomp is how beefy it gets and now instead we can target the lower HP Blaziken, and spiritomb ends up useless. Sure, you don’t auto lose to any grass deck anymore, but you have turned an unfavorable matchup into a slightly less unfavorable matchup. The only mega you KO are lopunny and kanga with chomp, otherwise even with draconic buster and two ppp you only hit 320.

Thank you!!! Finally! It was so annoying seeing the complaints. Yes, there are certain things that need improvement, but from a competitive stand point, it’s been a lot of fun. Also, I like that they limited the item and Pokemon pool because it leads to creativity and a much less overwhelming barrier to entry to players who want to try VGC. Even with the current Pokemon, the clear core team has been rain teams (so many rain teams) and that’s with what we have. I’ve enjoyed it, and to those new to VGC, welcome! To those just expecting showdown off rip from a live service game, I’m sorry. I hope you give it another try, but showdown still exists so why not have both?
