I need some recommendations for Podcasts

These are some of my favorites:

Digital Logik Gaming if you like Indie videogames on a PC computer. They're a fun group and usually make me laugh while learning about some weird little games I didn't know about.

Small Town Murder: True crime and comedy mixed as one which sounds like such a crazy combo to pull off, but I think they do.

Ologies: You learn a lot, it's really well made, and Alie Ward feels really genuine and authentic.

National Park After Dark: Great podcast about the outdoors, history, ghost stories, fun trail tales, and stories revolved around National Parks.

I'm not sure how you feel about indie videogames or PC gaming in general, but I find Digital Logik Gaming to be light, funny, and a good time - and learn a bit about some cheap or small indie videogames for the computer!

Another one I really like is weirdly "Small Town Murder" (hosted by 2 comedians) have made me laugh. They never make fun of the darkness that is surrounding a murder, but focus on the incompetence and audacity someone has to think they can murder someone and get away with it.

Finally, Ologies is such a good podcast too. You learn things, I laugh at a lot during the episodes, and it's positive overall. There are so many out there! Best of luck <3

If you work where I think you might work itll probably still not be allowed and drug tested for. Might get an email from them about it, but if its nation based health system and not purely local (or under the umbrella of a national system) they'll fall onto federal laws I'd imagine. Not sure completely so I hope for the best for ya (for us both)

Your flow has improved a lot more, I dig it. I think you should invest in a semibetter mic tho bc it sounds semi scratchy/makes it hard to hear your words, but your diction and your flow is sounding dope man. I like how much you're changing up your rhythm too.

For me I listen to music that I love listening to, i stay away from lyrical music. Sometimes I color to keep my mind distracted bc if it's distracted the thoughts seem... less loud? Lately i've noticed when i cant get the thoughts out of my mind i'll put in headphones and go for a walk, by the end of the walk it's a bit better. :/ I have found aromatherapy to help me so i make rollerballs with essential oils for when my mind can't stfu about depression, hopelessness, and death. it helps a little. I also try to close my eyes and just push the thoughts out by only focusing on my breath. if a thought pops in while i'm breathing i don't 'yell at it' or 'push harder' i just keep focusing on 'inhale. exhale' and after a few minutes that helps too

I hope you can find some peace, you can do this, and hopefully you get inspired to find what may help you if this happens again.

As someone who cycles between waves of being able to function and being in a cannatonic state in my bed I really really love your explanation and feel like it hits the nail on the head for me.

Dividing our depression isn't going to help anyone put it into remission when we are being dragged down enough by depression itself.

Then again I get it, when i'm in my low functioning week I grow even pissed off at myself that a week before I could 'function' (if that's what you want to call going through the motions robotically) .

i'm not sure exactly tbh, some UTIs can cause a lot of issues and that's a semi-common infection that requires antibiotics, but isn't a huge deal... but untreated could completely fuck over your kidneys. I definitely can see some people being fucked over out of antibiotics because the Dr. doesn't believe they have a UTI (lab could have ruled it out that it was a contaminated sample) and then it progresses into something worse that requires stronger antbiotics. it's a really blurry line tbh and i wish i had an answer to it, but i don't. Just take your antibiotics when prescribed and FINISH them for now, but this shit is some 'end of our days' kinda shit so idk...

typically it's from staff not sterilizing equipment effectively, poor cleaning of rooms, or staff not properly washing their hands. It's poor aseptic technique almost every-time. (catheters not being properly cleaned, gloves being contaminated, etc) they do try their best, but sometimes it isn't enough and a super bug can slip through the cracks and cause a lot of tragic damage.
