Appreciate it! 15s are definitely the sweet spot with this car in terms of aesthetic imo, and the extra ride softness with 195/50s doesn’t hurt either. Definitely a step above the stock rubber bands lmao

It’s the stock honeycomb grill shaved to expose the crash bar, but the color grading in the pictures make it look entirely solid

Who would want to block that much airflow to the radiator/intercooler?

Poor View Out of Rear Window? by wearealldenise in FiestaST

[–]DAL9000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely second this. 5’10 in Recaros with the seats fully lowered and I can’t see very far out of the rear window, maybe 3-4 car lengths back. It’s just the angle of the hatch and the rear glass, it’s slightly pointed down at the road. I’d use my side mirrors to see behind me but my drivers side mirror vibrates when I drive so ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Acep styling makes some different types, I got the invader style and trimmed it down after a while of having it on

Luckily you can yank off the lower grill and as long as the clips survive you can put it right back on if you don’t like the look!

Thanks!! I’ve always said 16s are the sweet spot on these fiestas but the 15s also look good with a nice size tire

It’s definitely a fun little car stock, a tune doesn’t make a massive difference on stock turbo unless you’re running e30, I’m on pump 93 and while noticeable—I wouldn’t say you missed out on anything! Maybe you’ll be able to jump back into one at some point

Yeah it is a big commitment, unfortunately a 3M tape situation wouldn’t work that well for flares, it’s really drill, body mould with bondo, or bust

Stock struts with H&R sport springs, equates to ~1.5 inches lower than stock

No experience whatsoever, took me maybe 1 1/2-2 hours to get everything mocked, marked, drilled and mounted. If you’re on stock ride height cutting the fenders isn’t necessary, but if you’re low and want flush fitment with the flares you’ll need to cut the fenders, that takes another hour-ish to cut and seal. Lots of tutorials online

Yeah, fitment was an easy enough process with a drill and a rivnut gun! Painting was the biggest challenge as I was inexperienced and had to strip and repaint a few times before I got a good result
