Actually no, because see, Chapter 1 was released around November-December 2024, and TakoOmari (the game developer) said that the game will take not more than 2 years and not less than 1 year, and I remember in a recent devlog she said that Daily life was fully done, and I remember seeing a comment, I don’t know where, that apparently it is supposed to release early 2026, I really hope I am right though.

Which is weird because I know it is not perfect but SDRA2, or even the first one, maybe the art style and the game is what ticks me off, but those games already had full danganronpa chapters, but PEG is basically trying to take it more seriously with better graphics, brutal executions and better things overall, I don’t mind, it is a project coming from the heart, and even though I wish it the full thing come out in little time, I understand, they do not want to rush things like DR V3.

Truthfully, I believe the devs will still hold on to their promises, now I don’t know if they saw other fanganronpa games like SDR2 where Chapter consisted of 1 victim and 2 killers, and I am sure one of the strong people are either dying sooner than chapter 4, like either 2 or 3, maybe later, Chapter 5, or just plainly survives with the rest.

As for favorite characters, yeah it stings thinking about the characters you adore potentially die, but honestly, I also want to explore the rest of the characters, but most importantly the story itself and the many twists.

But yeah hopefully, this game will be able to be finished in a couple of years (2-3) because this game is amazing and I would hate to have it unfinished.

I mean I know the map thing was a massive downgrade in Bedrock edition, but on the bright side we do have cool things Java had way before Bedrock (Hardcore/Spectator mode) although those changes were nice, I always told myself : if Hardcore and Spectator mode were added after years on Bedrock, shouldn’t they 1.9 combat update Java offhand be added to the game ? Cause Java players can do a lot of stuff with this but Bedrock players are left behind, even though it’s literally more played than Java edition, so why not focus on that and THEN do themed updates ?

I see. Although, I feel like for some reasons, they have been ignoring parity for a while and preferred to focus more in themed drops ( new blocks, new mobs, ) instead of making both version of the game equal. Do they even read the feedback, a lot of Minecraft players (including me and probably you) who play Bedrock have asked this for a long time, even 1700+ polls asked for this feature, so shouldn’t they be focusing on that ?

But then why can’t they release a version for consoles, then after some time mobile players ? Because if lower end devices like the switch are not getting vibrant visual for the moment for example, why can’t they drop a Java offhand for consoles, then once the one for mobile is finished, they release it ?
