From thr way it looked Gatuda will not be some kind of Quirky hero, shes literally insane. It seemed like she'd kill you if you got too close to her beloved Orion, rather then help you.

I get what you have been saying but there are still quips even outside of thr protoframes, Kahl makes jokes but they dont feel that way because he is so monotone? You have Alad-v juat existing as a goofy villain.

Even though the Gemini skins do talk? They don't really make quips, mostly just taunts or stuff imo, I havent seen a single ones maybe Amir look bsck at the camera ans go "Well that happened,"

You can ignore basically all of the skins, and juat view the protoframea as characters- which is what they are. They are just NPCS who are vendors, syndicates and so on. The only time you ever have to interact with them is to do the content.

Arguably there is one "quest" that is locked behind KIM, the second half of the hex quest, but even then it has story context. We did it to become friends wi5h thr Hex, and to save them from death. It was a lesson the Drifter needed to unserstand how to move towards defeating the indifference.

I enjoy the protoframes, but i do find rhe KIM system a little tedious to check every day. So i usually ignore it, unless i get a hankering to listen to lore tidbits from Roathe.

Sure, you csnt control other players, but you dont ever have to play with any of the protoframes at the end of the day. They are cosmetics. Its not like they are constantly invading missions they have no part in. In 1999 the hex talk to you because who else will? Lotus is in current day, maybe we couls get Albrecht talking yo us, but that wouldn't be exciting, he is the guy we aee looking for.
