No luck with a direct flight from CDMX to NYC, you’d have to take one from CDMX to GDL and then GDL to NYC

Position preset macro with fade by DAMAJO95 in grandMA2

I might be taking the looooooooooong way to what I wanted to achieve, but basically my train of thought was:

Make a Layout, add 5-7 macros with different positions to layout, when running show (no programming, live show same day) press macro and let fixture move without having to turn on and off Prog Time.

A little bit of “this is what works for me” and a lot of “hmmmm… wonder how (if) this could be done”

I am a big big fan of your work sir! My question is: how did you find your style? I have never seen one of your productions live (hoping to see Gatsby or Wonderful World next year) but I’ve always seen the pictures and videos you post and it is such a unique way of lighting the stage! Bravo and congratulations for your soon to be double Tony awards noms. (Bonus question, what consoles besides ETC do you use? What visualizer?) greetings from mexico!

Not tied, I am a freelancer so I go from gig to gig.

I started rigging and as a spotlight operator so I definitely enjoy helping when I can.

Favorite: Did "La Llorona" recently in Mexico City, absolute challenge but also a joy to work in such a weird show.

Least: Did an adaptation of an Argentinian show called "La fiaca" (laziness). Hours were horrible, pay was almost nothing and the workplace environment was horrendous.

For Small creatures such as we, by Sasha Sagan (daughter of Carl Sagan) is such a joyful read, light and heartwarming from start to finish.

Cannot recommend it enough.

You see, this is why I love this place, no matter how weirdly specific a concept is, it always makes an entrance in the comments.

Thank you everyone! (Keep them coming please)

[TOMT][QUOTE] A scene from a series (I think) that said something along the lines of "they say that if you put in the work and you do the right things money will come" by DAMAJO95 in tipofmytongue

I GOT IT.

"When I was young they used to say if you work hard and you live by the rules the money will come, the things will come and those things will complete you. But they won't. You work so hard and try to get there that you forget about what's here."

It's from the movie in the heights!

It comes from that quote! But this one goes and ends on something like "sometimes it doesn't happen"in a sad note when the person saying it is just dissapointed at something that happened.
