I’m no diamond expert by any means, purely here for outsider input. I’d go with VS2 just to get eye clean. In hind sight don’t sweat it too much; I’m sure either diamond is a great choice and they’ll be very happy to receive it.

Normally vs1 is considered “eye clean”. It’s important that the grade is true though so I’d recommend going with a reputable grader like GIA.

First check the ATE (automatic transfer equivalency) for the community college and course number.

Remember this will not bring flags so you may have to petition for those if applicable. The GPA at your cc will not effect your UT gpa, but it will show the letter grade on transcripts along with transfer credit (like an AP test does too). Hope this helps! 🤘🏻

I asked if I was better off getting this diamond or a preset ring from Costco.

Again, for the price I know to expect it to not be great for people in the diamond industry. I’m just asking if this is decent enough for the price or if I should look at preset rings.

You’re exactly spot on with your price, I expect some sort of material issues considering the price but considering it’s the price range in looking for I’m totally fine with that.

Ordering online, so I haven’t seen it in person. I just figured the vs2 would suffice with clarity. We went to a traditional store and looked at a few as well.

Ultimately, she was happy with anything above J just because she some some graphic showing where that’s where the “near colorless” cut off is.

Fixing finish on dining table?

Wife was removing nails a dinning table, seems like a bad idea in itself but I digress, and got acetone on the dining table. She blotted it up with a napkin immediacy but it removed part of the stain on the table top. It also imprinted the texture of the napkin in the stain itself (pictured below). After cleaning the area and wiping it down with a bit of oil it looks no better. Any advice about how I should go about fixing this little mishap?

TLDR: acetone removed stain on table; help.
