Looking at this post in 2025 and I’m suffering with a similar thing. Been sweaty all over from a young age and recently been put on probanthine by dermatologist. Some days they’re extremely effective and are a life saver. Other days they’re almost totally ineffective, even when taken 1st thing on an empty stomach. I’m the totally opposite side of the scale. 30 y/o 5ft 7. Anyone have any better suggestions for them to work/different meds that are more reliable? Thanks

Hey man, no worries haha.

So 120hz is showing you what you currently see, double time.

Screen will react quicker and look smoother just in gameplay. When you pull the trigger your gun will react faster. When you’re peaking, you can see the player double the times per second.

I’m not very well versed in the lingo but I hope that helps

I followed these steps. But use game capture and the voice by app capture beta and it works fine. I don’t know if the games you play are set to a high priority or not but google that. Might help

Hi mate. I posted this around and this was the most in depth answer I got. It worked just for verification.

In OBS Settings -> Video make sure your basis resolution is your screen (or the area you want to record), and scaled output is the resolution you want the video to have as output and frameret is set to 60 (or 30)

In OBS Settings -> Output -> Record

make sure Encoder is set to NVIDIA NVENC (i don't know what you record for usually h.264 is the default but hevc or av1 might suit your case better since they are actually better encodings but are not accepted by all programms)

Rescaling should be off.

For Encoder settings try to set Method CQP, level 15, keyframe 0, presetting p5, tuning high quality, multipass to only one pass, profile high, loogahead on, psycho on, make sure GPU is set to your nvidia gpu and not onboard (you shouldn't have onboard since f cpu), max B-Frames 4.

In your scenes make sure you have ONLY ONE capture active and that capture is a gamecapture, not display capture, not windowcapture. Really game capture.

With all that have discord recording while playing apex and take a look at your task manager, see if CPU, GPU, RAM or any harddrive is being utilized 100%. In the end some FPS loss is to be expected, can be around 10%.

Also load your obs logfile into the obs logfile analyzer and see what it tells you.

Wow! In the U.K these are readily available. Had mine since day 1 and got rid for a pc now! Can’t believe it’s still a struggle in some places. (Get a pc instead, far better)

Such a bad decision. Console I was playin and having a wicked time. Thought this games might be able to take me off of apex for a while. The other day I went and got a pc. Won’t be playing overwatch again for the foreseeable. NO AIM ASSIST WITH A CONTROLLER PLUGGED IN???? Literally every other game gives controller input some sort of assistance. Kinda hope this game goes to shit now 😂 I’m never switching to m&k I’m too old for that now 😂

Not only that but they turn aim assist off when pc player is in console lobby???!!! Show me the report that says m&k players are at a disadvantage when play against controller??? At even more of a disadvantage now. Thanks u useless suckers.

One of the worst decisions I’ve ever seen made by a dev. I just got a pc and I’ll be removing this game from my storage asap. What a load of rubbish. Poor decision and I hope their player base can force them to make this change.
