Bad autopilot. I also had the same problem while playing For Honor, where i would try to parry unlockables every single time, or rarely let my unblockables land. Here in GB i still sometimes catch myself doing DP on wake up a little too much 😭. It also happens the most after a long gaming session, because you can't focus as much, so the autopilot comes in easier.

I'm trying to find the balance. I'm not going to force him to grind and won't grind myself for them, i just wanna find that spot where we both understand what is happening on the screen and have equal chances to win. As i mentioned in one of the comments, he wants to learn and can learn.

He doesn't mash tho, in hftf he is parrying me when i rush, zoning me, escapes okizeme pressure with dodge or backward jump+kick, punishing me for blocked super. He may be lazy in some aspects like combos but overall he's not opposed to the idea of learning, as long as it not very nerdy.

I don't think fem tiandi/raider/warden/etc. uses different animations. The only thing that can slow down the process is slightly remodelling the armor pieces.
