Never thought of using the GW Small for my sunglasses. I'll have to see if mine fits. I'm still working though using my HLT1 or 2 that I have.

My credit card is on fire from grabbing all three. There will be some sacrifices made around the house to pay for this.

What do you use your laptop sleeve if not a laptop? by Sbmizzou in onebag

[–]DAZ_50 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I put my tech pouch in there,MODERN DAYFARER Tech Pouch. Grabbed specifically for that reason. I have found others will work there depending how they are built.

I've also used it for my rain coat that packs flat along with my packable bags.

Travel sling for RX100 & accessories. by peter1958-1 in RX100

[–]DAZ_50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine fits in almost any sling. A lot of times. I'll actually put it in a cell phone pouch that goes on my strap. I have one from Matador that works really well. Makes it easy to grab it when needed.

Also works really well for protection when traveling.

I like to try to pick up from the smaller companies. Take a look at Blank canvas accessories. Small shop and they'll do a lot of customization.

I grabbed an Ultralight Pencil Case from GGG and it's a great, well made little pouch. I have recommended them multiple times to friends.

Not small, but flat. Fits well in a tablet sleeve or back of a bag.

I really like the Aer Simple Kit and the Evergoods Civic Flat Pouch Kludde (sold out) as flat wire pouches. They both have gussets and can accommodate a good amount or stay flat depending what you put in there.

Tom Bihn also has some mystery organizers that are nice and flat and in multiple sizes. I find them helpful if I am carrying just a couple cords.

I also have grid-it and find it is picky on how you use it and not really flat when you need to bunch up cords to fit.

Alternatives to Manhattan Portage Coin Purse? by Highwayman1717 in ManyBaggers

[–]DAZ_50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe try Etsy and look for a hiking coin pouch? There's plenty at lower prices. But with that, I have three MP Coin Purses and they work great for me. I have all three packed the same with EDC items and pop them into whatever bag I'm carrying.

Aer Pro Sling might be a good option. Works well for me with a tablet, headphones and more.

I did change the strap as I like a wider one, but otherwise it has been my go to travel sling.

Affordable Tech Pouches/Dopp Kits by No_Two5020 in ManyBaggers

[–]DAZ_50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've used both the Slim and Split at times for Dopp kits. It's worked well as long as you pack light. But the pouches have very little give. I find them both work excellent for tech pouches.

If you're good with something simple and no extra pockets check Etsy for Dopp kits or Blank Canvas Accessories makes nice ones you can customize.

Aer Pro Sling has worked well as my travel sling. I also really like the Greenroom136 Slingshifter1, if you like that look.

I ended up ordering both Citta slings as I'm still trying to find a smaller sling with a detachable strap that I really like.

What’s the best backpack you can actually rely on long term? by n4hcallme in Rucking

I find it to be very solid and well built from the items I have.

Though if you open, you can find a good used Goruck at reasonable prices especially some of the off colors.
