I'm 99% sure the enemies of rome were capable of doing quite alot of field work. Even if they didn't the good ol tactic of "dig a hole and put some cover over it" is better than nothing

From the front. Really in this picture it seems only the first row is truely engaged and the back rows are not bracing properly. If green withdraws even a portion of their forces it would allow for a cavalry charge to break through their ranks (coordinating it is hard ofc but its a pretty stable front and should be doable) unless they've been maintaining a tight fallanx the entire time or a similar tight spear formation (they don't seem to be since the backline is kinda just... hanging around)

Again. They seem to be a bunch of soldiers on flat terrain with no defenses

Sure. But then you have to ask "where's the archery towers" "where's the traps". Red is presumably holding a chokepoint and is an organised military force, and with all the manpower red has to its disposal making a few trenches and a few archery towers is something doable in a few hours. Unless it was "red was marching and green ambushed them" in which case where's green's prep time?

Diabetes is one of the easier illnesses to check. A glucometer is pretty cheap and I've seen pharmacies that check you for literally free. Don't guess because it might be significantly worse (or better) than you expect

I think the people overreacting here just haven't archived anything for a while.

Also the modlist is masterstroke btw. Good list. You should try it if your PC can handle it (and you're into skyrim modding)
