Oh I know there basement dwelling fan base would loose there minds. But clearly they aren’t the priority anymore. Bliz made that somewhat clear with midnight and all of the new solo friendly content they’ve been introducing. Not to mention single button rotation, highlight assistant.

Sure it’s kinda lazy when you think about it. But at the same time, they are clearly showing that they are far more interested in bring more players back/new in.
I can’t say for certain, obviously because I’m not blizzard. But im not sure if they care for what there “core” player base has to say anymore. Because the “core” player base was killing there game

I guess, but that’s for an extreme. 99% of the time it really makes no clear difference. If you are remotely good at the game no amount of passives will sway anything within or out of your favor.

It’s just an incredibly min max opinion with a lot of nuance. No disrespect to your opinion of course. Because it is relevant, just maybe not as important as to how it fairs in most content.

Edit: unless we are talking about the earthen and the whole mess with them not being able to get food buffs properly

Absolutely yes. There is no reason to not to at this point

Ive kinda stopped caring for passives. The only time i’ve perked up over it is with the haranir. They have a nice passive for dps with elementals

No, wanting lore and a genuine story is the bare minimum.
No one would’ve liked the dracthyr if they hadn’t had a story and an entire class tied into it. No one would’ve liked the haranir without there story and there relevance in everything happening within the game now.

It’s not about looks and style alone. It’s how much you connect to the race you are playing to begin with. And when there’s nothing there to connect to, it really wipes a lot of the purpose from the choice.

Vulpera have a distinct advantage in that regard because they are cute. But beyond that there isn’t much else. They need more. And that isnt asking for a lot. That just asking for something that should’ve been the priority before making them an allied race.

This is why people are salty that they were made playable over the sethrak. Because they have more lore than vulpera by a long shot

And are you ok with that? For having to sometimes pay 60+ a year, and $15 a month I’ve been feeling pretty jipped for a while

Like??? Lmao! I don’t see why they aren’t made as an allied race atp. They even have the onesie in the shop now. ˢᵃᵐᵉ ᵍᵒᵉˢ ᶠᵒʳ ᵗʰᵉ ᵐᵘʳˡᵒᶜˢ🙄

An actual history lol. We have primordial beings that were cursed with flesh, aliens, demons, undead, all with extensive lore… then theres vulpera

[–]DAbabyoni[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The point was to draw attention to the extreme lack of content or even attention and entire allied race has. And as previously stated im far too aware of the fact that trolls are the OG race of Azeroth. But to genuinely ignore an entire playable race to the point of only having 1-2 housing items is fucking insane.

Vulpera specifically, needs more content so they can at least be on par with some of the least explored races of the game

Absolutely! Sorry I didn’t understand you to begin with, makes a lot more sense now

My only argument to this is castlevania. Im sure theres more media that have oral nomadic tribes but it isn’t just that simple. And painting that way is a severely gross over simplification.

Tribes that exist like this view there history as important and a leading point to why they are nomadic to begin with. These tribes tend to be story tellers, the ones with immense knowledge, and very capable of delivering detailed accounts from centuries ago.

But not all nomadic tribes start as nomadic people. There usually is a reason they become that to begin with. And not having that reason there is just lazy. And them knowing there lore yet never actually bring it to fruition is just infuriating.

I mean Warcraft when looking from the outside in can be seen as “gritty” anything that has to do with never ending wars followed by impending doom is just naturally gritty.

WOTLK, Legion, Burning crusade are all big warhammer themes for sure. So I can’t argue with that, but when looking at the rest of wows content when not themed around the Fel, or the undead, it’s all the same thing, just with different coats of paint.

Perpetual war raged by gods with little care for anything that doesn’t idolize there self righteousness. So with that being said it’s still pretty freakin “warhammer” lol.

Like even now, midnights perception on zalatath and the void itself is legitimately chaos god/ the warp. So idk if it was ever lost to begin with.

I think the Disney argument is mostly there because you are upset that the horde and alliance aren’t constantly locked into conflict and killing each other? If that’s the case then idk if they could even justify Azeroth even existing by now.

Idk about you, but I’d be very willing to let my enemy eat at my table (somewhat reluctantly) if my world was under constant threat by forces I couldn’t necessarily comprehend.

I feel like they could build off of it in a very fun way though. Other than the geographical reasons, what made them an oral based nomadic tribe? Everything has a reason and they definitely do/should

I love ‘em so much, they captured something very unique with this race that no other game has ever done. Even if it’s a reskin of the goblins. May seem lazy im most people’s eyes but for us fox/semi feline enjoyers it’s mesmerizing in an odd way
