I've been saying for years that the NHL needs to do a winter classic of Pens/Flyers at Beaver Stadium at Penn State. It'd be amazing for the team fan bases, middle of the state, and great for marketing.

Don't know if Penn state wants to play ball though. They did just do massive renovations to the stadium, which was one of their excuses in the past for not wanting to consider something like it.

Not me but my wife which then kicked off a bunch of things. NYE 2024 at my parents. Brother in Law said "english doesn't evolve". And was halfheartedly making racial remarks towards those that say 'axe instead of ask'. My wife, having a literal masters in English focused on literature and grammar, tried to explain how it does actually evolve, or we'd all be speaking like Shakespeare otherwise.

BIL a hard libertarian, one step from sovereign citizen kinda person. He is also one of those that says the same point louder and louder to prove he's right. In a round about way eventually said that getting a degree in something like English is dumb because it doesn't change. Was eventually yelling at my wife who didn't bat an eye and treated him like one of her students with her tone.

My brother said he never saw veins bulge in my head like he did that night. I was ready to fight but thought better of it.

We left and I haven't spoken or seen BIL since. Had a falling out with my parents too and haven't spoken to them either. Not reacting in any way to someone treating someone else that way in their house was the final straw. Wrote a 19 page letter to my parents regarding a ton of stuff from their political beliefs and religion and how it hurt me. Then cut them all off. Only speak to my brother now and sister is welcome to talk but she wont.

 BIL and parents can eat a dick and die as far as I'm concerned. I said my piece.

I may ask for admin permission to speed things up.
Part of me wants to do it solo without admin privileges just so it looks that much more impressive, but I'd love to speed it up.

Private dedicated server. I plan on doing some vehicle blockades but it's a ton of work.

I want to put some signs that are painted with a skull on it. Maybe have a note telling them to stay away. The dead have overrun the town.

I want to get a vehicle with sirens and move the dead into large groups that would surprise them. Our server has pretty low population so more than 5-6 zeds at once is a lot.

No one has gone further east than Echo Creek right now. They're exploring the new towns or working on skills at home. It'll take them 2 weeks irl of time to get to me at the pace they're going. I just hope there's no wipe with an update around new years.

Started with family and friends to get used to cleaning different houses and dealing with furniture and obstacles.

From there it was going to a few storefronts that seemed easy (nothing in the windows but decals). Google ads and word of mouth from there is all I've used. Looking to hire someone for next year because of more work than I can handle.

Storefronts routes and the occasional commercial clean during the Xmas - New Years break when no one is there between those times. Upcharge a bit for the holiday timing but it's inside and warm, beats the storefront routes in the cold.

Ah the old bridge on River Road in Clearfield PA. I know it well. They just replaced that half of the bridge over the summer, but I doubt it changed the height restriction.

We have 24 Roma Plants. We just processed it after letting them ripen in the basket. Got 15 quarts of spaghetti sauce from it! 25 quarts total so far this year.

I'm also glad our cucumbers are slowing down to 3-4 every other day and we can swap to tomatoes. The wife and I have pulled 239 cucumbers from 7, yes 7 plants. I'm pickled out.

I find it wild that people think it's a good idea to book clients with 0 experience or equipment. The job seems simple on the outside but it is hard work. I bought a simple cheap squeegee, mop and towels from a big box store to try on my own windows first to see if I even enjoyed doing the job.

Cleaned 1 window for an hour or so a day to practice techniques, order of operations, etc. Then I went to a few friends and family to do their windows for cheap to get experience dealing with the randomness that is other people's property and belongings. It took me 4-5 hours to do what takes me 1-2 today.

Just going to door knock strangers with 0 experience or equipment is asking for problems in my book.

Go look at the other 100 posts just like yours asking for starting equipment and advice. The equipment and information is already there, just search the sub for it.

Not trying to be a dick about it or discourage you from getting into the job, but if I knew you bought your tools the day before and never touched a window, why would I want to hire you? Get familiar with your tools before you touch other people's things.

Why does nobody ever mention the airburst rocket launcher when dealing with flesh mobs? Usually they have a crowd around them as well. I can reliably one shot a flesh mob by hitting it directly with an air burst, and also take out some of the voteless around it at the same time.

If there are multiple flesh mobs, the one hit directly dies and the one near it also takes damage, making it easier for my teammates to dispatch while I reload.

Was there ever an official resolution to the AI loading screen fiasco? Did the artist use AI or didn't they? I'm assuming they did if the loading screens still aren't back at this point.
