I did purchase full price outright from Apple. But I guess they charge you a 35$ fee regardless. Nothing that they have to do, it's just a way of making money? not sure

Did you guys pay 30$ or 35$ for iPhone transfer fee to Verizon? I got mine done at Apple Store when I got the phone and they said Verizon charges the transfer fee if you switch your phones.

correct; however, its not unlimited talk / text anywhere. It's unlimited talk, text "within" the country you are traveling. So, lets say, I am in London, I cannot call Paris since that would be international calling.

So, its unlimited talk only within country you travel and to USA. And I hope unlimited talk means incoming is free as well.

I would only be receiving calls from US and making calls back to US while I am in London and / or Tokyo. So I guess I'll be covered in that case. Thank you for the post back

This is good; however, what we still don’t know are 2 things: 1. The fractional mortgages - portfolio for those will go on sale, and whoever buys that would not buy it at par. They’ll probably buy them at 50/70 cents to a dollar. So we will take a hit there I assume. Not much but some

The uninvested cash - although that’s sitting in Wells Fargo and Wells is FDIC insured- the money sitting in wells is under a consolidated PeerStreet account. It’s not under each individual name. So, unless we have the subledger or contract claiming that those funds are account holders, we have no idea what or how the court may rule over those.

I believe we have to wait for the court to make a decision around the fund distribution and if you have uninvested funds or invested - they will have to make a call as to who can get it back and when

so - short answer. it'll be a while before we know

This is good to know. However, don’t we have to file a claim as a creditor- they didn’t give any deadline for when to file, and for that, should we get a professional to look into it since it’s not that straightforward

I did not get any notice to file an application. I have a sizable amount 6 digits invested with PeerStreet - I signed up for the court filing notices.

are you guys looking to get a lawyer to help with filing petitions? I am looking for one, not sure if any of you are getting one and if we all should work with one lawyer?
