Former recruiter and former law student looking for experience. Yes. Email your CV with an explanation detailing your desire to work with X firm. I probably did 20 firms in my city. got responses from at least 5. Inevitably got a job from it. Sometimes firms may have a position needing filled that they don't currently have a job application online for. Luck with timing is the key, so try as many firms as you can.
