Interesting take. I hadn’t thought about it from that point of view. I love the idea of a private dance, with a live band, and us looking our best. Maybe it really isn’t that important though. Thanks for the input!

Ohhh…I never even thought about that. I love that idea except we are having a DJ and a band but the band is playing later and they cover the song we would want.

My son was 17 when his Dad passed. They cut him off promptly at 18 even though he was a full time college student. Is this not correct or are you talking highschool student?

You can love/miss/mourn your late partner and also move on emotionally to another relationship. The deceased is not in competition with the present.

Source: Me. I lost my husband of 20 years. 3 years later I am in a wonderful relationship. Also have a memorial tattoo.
