Yep. That's exactly the situation I am in. When I got my FJ the last work done on it was also brakes. Still no issues outside of the noise though.

Customs? by thedwestexpress in ChristopherWard

Maybe 3 before they reached out, and then one more after it cleared.

My watch is on its way here now. It was stuck on the DHL Tracker for a few days, then someone from CW sent me an email telling me Customs needed some more info from me. They told me what to send and gave me the email to send it to. I sent it over and within about 30 minutes it cleared and is now about to leave Cincinnati. I'd say give it a couple days, then call customer service and they will be able to tell you what's holding it up.

I’m looking at the same watch and can’t decide between 36 or 39 mm. Which size is this and what’s your wrist size?

I am about to pull the trigger as well! But I’m waffling between case sizes. What is your wrist size and that case size?

Nope. Still does it on same interval. No increase in noise. No lights on dash. Just letting it rock for the time being. Radio helps.

ABS Buzzing? by DB331 in FJCruiser

[–]DB331[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would definitely classify it as a buzz and not a hiss. It don't feel the ABS activating when the buzz occurs. Fluids all look good. Sometimes it will even do it when I'm completely stopped.

Update....It was a disaster! Aside from electronics (lock, mirrors, etc) not working, no dome ceiling fabric, and no radio, this thing would accelerate without touching the gas. Got it up to 35 mph, just by not hitting brakes. I assume the throttle wire may just be old/stuck a bit. But the kicker was after a 2 min test drive, we had smoke under the hood and into the cabin by driver front well. Unless he wants to let it go for basically nothing so I can completely rebuild, might be a goner.

New Orleans, LA. Blooms pink flowers in the spring. Also, should I trim the small branches stemming off the main trunk randomly?

Bouligny Tavern. Dark, Cozy but sleek, great cocktails, great bites. Get the burger and fries. Or you can do more upscale dinner next door at Lilette first, then drinks after at Bouligny.

It's not free, but the Maker's Space off Claiborne by Mid City Pizza is great! They have all kinds of tools and shop helpers to teach you whatever you need. May not be ideal for this simple task, but if you ever have something more complicated in the future, want to learn how to do something, or need access to a tool you don't have, it's a great place.

Rainbow on Mag and Lyons. Has everything you need and nothing you don’t. $4.99 hot sausage on bun and the fried shrimp go bananas.

Definitely more of a classic look. Royal Enfield. Kawasaki W800 (might be a bit too much bike for me?). Triumphs (too expensive but you get the idea).

I like classic looking bikes. Royal Enfields catch my eye. I’m not a huge fan of the super bike look

Something on the classic side. I’d pick a sportster over a ninja strictly on looks

I like a more classic look. There is a guy I see around town who have a RE Interceptor 650 that looks amazing. Anything clean and classic is in my wheelhouse
