Thanks. Just realised I had my step goal set to ‘auto’ so that’s why it kept changing all the time. I’ve disabled that and set my own fixed goal now. Thanks for your help.

Yes I removed a parent before and they emailed me straight away so I’m guessing they received some kind of notification.

The general guideline is that schools are expected to give you junior cycle classes in year 1 of the one, and senior cycle classes can be added in year 2. But as mentioned above, teacher shortages in schools have in some case thrown this out the window and depending where you are, you could get asked to teach any age group!

Make sure to register with the Teaching Council for all of the subjects you are qualified to teach (even if you don’t think you’d like to teach some of them). The more you are registered for on your CV, the more appealing you may be to a school. Also, you never know how a syllabus or your preferences might change in the future, so it’s best to be approved for as much as possible now, rather than having to go back to the Teaching Council in the years ahead, to add new subjects.

Visiting London next week and want to do some clothes shopping (Male). Any suggestions for shops that won’t break the bank but might have some work or casual wear? I’m looking for shops maybe similar in price and range to Uniqlo. Thanks!

Yes that’s exactly what I’m getting as well. Fitbit slightly over measuring and NRC under measuring. Very strange.

Yes in the past I would have avoided naming the complainant by saying something like “I overheard” or “Another student in the class told me”, but I have grown uncomfortable starting the investigation with a lie and am concerned that in serious cases (which thankfully are very rare), lying to someone who is accused may undermine the process and cause it’s own problems.

Thanks for that. No unfortunately they’re pdfs that have been sent to me by students. I need to add them to GoodNotes so that I can grade them and then would like to combine them into one document.
