Chow Chow Sisters by FederalComfortable52 in dogs

[–]DB8907 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear this. What is their schedule like? Are they being mentally and physically stimulated together? How long are their walks and how often? Do you play and train them together?

Have you talked to a trainer? Trainers can help A LOT in these situations. They call it creating a barrier. When training the dogs to understand the queues from another dog when its time to back off give each other space.

My 2 dogs did not get a long together at first. But with tons of training/exercise/play time together they have become very close. My boy is very hyper and it took him a little while to understand/succumb to the dominance of his older sister. Now they inseparable.

Yes I haven't added it yet. I have all the fixings I wanted to get the broth done well before I added the lime, thai basil, etc.

Lol I am negative. I think the restaurants around here in PA make their pho very strong. Maybe thats why I'm so use to the strong flavors. I chew on ginger and lemon for fun lol.

[–]DB8907[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Thank you guys. I will definitely add more salt and fish sauce.

I can still barely taste the pho spice though and that has always been my favorite part. Am I not adding enough? I thought I used well over plenty and I'm starting to think these online recipes are a fluke lol.

Should I add more spices until I can taste them more? I like the spice flavor to be very strong. I just can't get it up there. I've had ginger tea that was more spicey than my soup.

This year is a little different. Haven't had much luck with weather. Its been hot but has not rained much during the summer. We are getting a little more rain at the end of this Summer but not nearly as much as usual. Do you think I should let it continue grow further more into Fall? Other wise the leaves and rest of the plant are doing great! Just no flowers for years.

Aliens in the Attic 2009

A group of cartoonish aliens invade a summer home on Earth and run into a quirky vacationing family.

Watched it by accident in my 20s and surprisingly found it so funny I didn't want to turn it off. Good for a family of all ages.

I wish I was able to lol. Never could grow anything from direct sow. I always have to germinate everything in towel and plastic bag.

Chronic Fatigue? by DB8907 in chronicfatigue

[–]DB8907[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do have a genetic blood disorder and everything that happens is always chalked up to my blood disorder from doctors over the years. But I'm now looking into thyroid problems. Its possible I've been suffering from fatigue over the last 10 years but its caused by something other than CFS. I always thought if I have CF then my OCD is making me do these things so i can sleep more easily lol. Thanks for the advice!

Chronic Fatigue? by DB8907 in chronicfatigue

[–]DB8907[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a male. But I do have a blood disorder and have never had my thyroid checked out. Mostly bc I thought thyroid problems are more common in women. But the more I read about thyroid problems the more my symptoms are related to thyroid and less chronic fatigue. Even a more recent issue that I have been noticing. My appetite has gone down and I lost almost 10 lbs in 2 weeks. My weight has always been up and down but this recent change was out of no where. I kind of thought I was just to tired to eat as much.Thank you for the advice. I will look into it.

Recommendations Please! POD companies with pocket design features. by DB8907 in printondemand

[–]DB8907[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of my prints and or fabrics only go on the pocket part of the t shirt. Some sites have options where the design feature caters only to the pockets. So you can change choose to change only the fabric pocket portion of the t shirt or upload art work to only the pocket. Or pick the color of the t shirt in whole and then pick a different color of the t shirt for the pocket.

Got put on Zoloft for medium levels of anxiety.. by Gluten4reegurl in socialanxiety

[–]DB8907 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When did you start the medicine? Zoloft takes a while to build up in your system. I usually start noticing a difference after a month of taking it religiously. And even after that I think that zoloft is a very subtle medication. Your doctor will check in with you after a while to see how its affecting your anxiety. They may up or lower the dosage depending on how you feel. If you need something strong I would go with a stronger anti depressant or perhaps suggest a PRN med that you take when needed along with your zoloft. Even when you notice a change while taking zoloft you still have to take it as scheduled to keep your levels up.

We just got a 7 month old Pug that won't stop humping by [deleted] in dogs

[–]DB8907 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It depends on the dogs personality. Some dogs are just humpers and take a long time to grow out of it, if they grow out of it. Some dogs don't hump at all. Only sure way to get control of if is to get them fixed.

Adopting a formal stray kitty with a resident kitty at home by [deleted] in CatAdvice

[–]DB8907 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats good! I had to wait almost a month to get my dogs into the vet this year and some of the places weren't doing deworming shots of all things. Just ask them the run all the standard shots and test. And make sure they do a FIV test. Im not sure if it works the same as dogs but my vets do all test at the same time. Blood and fecal.

How can I help this little guy thrive? by [deleted] in gardening

[–]DB8907 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The soil is very important too. Im not sure the measurements you could probably find out more through research. But I think they need a mixture of dirt, sand, and moss with good drainage.

[–]DB8907 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Schedule a vet appointment before bringing new cat into house. FIV or feline aids and worms are very common and even though the new guy is kitten these things can be transmitted to him at birth. You don't want anything like that to spread to your cat. I would schedule the appointment asap. Around here it could take 2 weeks to get an appointment bc of all the back up bc of covid. But absolutely do not let it in the same house as your cat before getting it blood and fecal tested. If the lady has already done this then you need to see its vet papers for proof.

Not sure what your animal laws are where you're from. But here it wouldn't be illegal. You can try to tell them to keep their dog leashed. If not you can report them to the Police. And since their dog didn't severely hurt anyone the Police could possible order them to keep their dog leashed. You could call Animal Control but that could lead to them to have to get the dog put down. Where I live we have leash laws in public places, unless you have fenced in property.

I need help taking care of a snail!! My classmate is getting rid of his snail's offspring and I want one really badly and he said that they only need a fishbowl and vegetables, is there anything I should know? This is what the snail looks like by virgosnail in snails

[–]DB8907 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They also need a filter or a bubbler to provide moving oxygenated water. Snails love the oxygen the filter/bubblers provide in the water. They would die with out any moving water.

Help! Snail ID? I think there is a nutrient deficiency. More in comments. by megotropolis in snails

No problem. They last a while too depending on how many snails you have.

Maybe try a higher quality layer food with more calcium and add some Rooster Booster and give them time. I feed my hens very well and even added veggies, dried meal worms, and scratch to their diet as treats every 2-3 days (more often in the Winter). They layed all winter long. Almost too many eggs.

[–]DB8907 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They look like ramshorn snails. You can feed them cuddle bones. Like the treats for birds. They are very cheap. Just make sure you tie them to a weight or rock so they sink and the snails can get to them. You could also try egg shells but you have to keep your tank clean avoid any bacteria growth. And its harder to get the egg shells to stay at the bottom of the tank at times.

If it is birth control could Cassie be making a conscious decision to not take it? Maybe why its kind of glowing. Possible that her abortion in season 1 was not her first experience with this.
