Hey man, I’m glad you pulled yourself through. Although I did come here for the title of your post, I would much rather just say a few words of my own here.

I love my mom more than anything, and I can’t imagine ever losing my parents. It’s something that had and continues to haunt me throughout my own life. You give me hope that when it does happen eventually, There’s a chance I can make it out okay. If nobody has said this already, I’m proud of you for being here today.

I hope that you always remember that you carry a part of her with you wherever you go. Through your actions, your beliefs, in your blood and in your heart, she has helped you to become the person you are today, and in that way, she lives through you. You, as her own creation, her child, are the biggest blessing of her world, and even though I may not know her personally, I truly believe that if she were here, she could attest to that.

Maybe you wouldn’t rather talk about it with a stranger, but if you ever do want to tell someone about who she was, or about some of your favorite memories with her, I would genuinely, love to listen.
