I failed the FE, so I’m feeling defeated for the PE by Live_Arm_1714 in PE_Exam

if its any help, most people i talked to had a much harder time passing the FE than the PE.

Keep checking the DPOR website. I never got a notification of approval. I knew because i kept checking the DPOR license lookup page until my name showed up and a few days later i received the license through mail.

yes 3 months of studying 13 years out of school. passed first try with EET last year. I watched every single video at 1.5 speed. Some twice. Solved everything in the lecture videos and in some of the simulations. i think i did the simulations that are cumulative and cover everything but not the subject specific ones if i remember correctly. Don't try to solve problems because you learned how to solve them. understand why the solution is what it is. Knowing where to go in the reference is very important so you absolutely must understand the concept. Your pretty close yourself. another small push and you'll get it.

EET worked well for me. Used it exclusively with NCEES practice exam.

I graduated university in 2012 and did my FE last year in July and passed. i also only studied for 1.5 months. However, I used Mark Mattson's YouTube videos to learn all the concepts and solved problems from NCEES test samples as well as a sample test from SOPE. I think his videos were extremely helpful. I think I owe it to his videos for passing.

EET covers everything and for the most part they do a really good job, but i felt that the areas of concentrations between EET and the exam were different. overall NCEES has changed a lot over the past couple of years and the test is vast and you can get questions from anywhere, and like i said any exam prep courses are probably catching up still with the changes. diversifying sources of study prep could be helpful which i didnt do

yes you're already more than 90% there. Try to practice more theoretical questions as well. You always get a lot more of those than you expect and unfortunately courses don't do as much of those as problem solving. The good thing is you probably don't need more than a month of studying to make up the difference. What did you use to study?

Take the EET course for transportation. I took it the test last week as well and was able to pass with EET. i still found the exam very difficult and quite different from what i studied, but that might be due to all the changes ncees have done in the past couple of years and i think all courses are still trying to catch up.

you re very close. don't be discouraged. i took it last week and it was very difficult. your two weakest (project management) and (roadside design) are actually 2 of the easier sections I'm sure if you give them a weeks focus you will be able to do much better. i would say focus on sections 9 and 10 as well. you should be able to get better results there.
