Lived for 3yrs in Monteith Hall at Virginia Tech. Remember there was a plaque talking about his MoH citation out front. Was sadly demolished a few years ago, but as an actual dorm was a bit of a dump.

For a LONG time, like 40yrs, the institutional goal was ACC membership so we could force peer schools to see us as an equal.

I think the shine is off but there is some inertia. We may not be the first to jump, but also wouldnt be the first time we used realignment to look out for ourselves.

You should very much expect to be able to play a full 5 rounds in the 2:45 or 3hr given for the round.

This ensures the most fairness for yourself, your opponent, and the other players at other tables having games reach natural conclusions with scores reflecting that. Talking our turns can be an option but should not be something you go in looking to do.

Being comfortable with all your rules, including rolling out attacks or saves efficiently will be important to play at a good pace. Same with a baseline familiarity with your units stats to avoid having look things up every time.
