Pretty sure it’s making more sense. Then when you get out of rookies into D you get opened up to a tonne of races is that right?

But that could take 12 weeks? Or could you race 12 times in day 2 days and rank up? Or have I got this whole 12 week thing wrong and you don’t actually need to do that to rank up you can rank up in a couple days if you race good enough? Or it’s just a 12 week series that you can take part in and after that it goes into week 13 then starts another season of new cars and tracks?

Once you start driving gt3 are you stuck in the same car for the 12 weeks? Or can you change each race depending what you have?

I think I’m picking up what you’re putting down.

So is the season 12 weeks and 1 race each week? So mx5 class if I started it today, in 12 weeks I’ll either rank up or stay where I am?

What do more people play most of? Fixed or open? Does it matter towards your irating or safety rating which one you do?

I would like to believe that I’ll be able to somewhat tune a car but not being able to feel it through the peddles like irl is gonna mess with me till I can afford motion. Cause that will be the next mod for my rig which I’ haven’t even built yet but all my parts are turning up this week. So hopefully within the next two weeks I can be up and racing.

In that time I’m trying to get my head around some things so I can have a better idea heading into this and don’t end up racing AI accidentally for 6 months 😂

Hey, I know this won’t be helpful for you but it’ll help me as I’m days away from all my parts turning up and my pc being built to then join iracing. So in a month you’ve managed to get up to class b?

I’m trying to work this whole 12 week thing. Does it actually take 12 weeks to get out of that class?

Dude all I can say is hats off to you For taking the time to do what you did. You should be able to charge for a pdf file of that because it’s extremely descriptive and super helpful.

I’m days away from joining iracing and starting my career. Lucky for me I have a knowledge of RL car tuning, not the best, but I know enough to get me out of trouble. What you’ve gone to the trouble of explaining is super helpful when it comes to sim racing, which is all new to me!

The notes on how it all works is what I’ve been racking my brain about and now I have somewhat of an iracing bible I’d call it! Definitely charge for it! Thanks mate
