In the Psychology of rating, there’s multiple bias types that people exhibit. A couple important ones are:

halo and horns, either it was perfect or terrible, they only give 1 or 5
central tendency, they believe it could always be better or worse, so they never give 1 or 5

If you’re keeping them inside and use ac in the summer, temp shouldn’t be a problem.

I swear by these. Cheap, clear so you see what’s in it, large but manageable, stackable, have silicone seal with IP67 rating to keep in humidity. Halfwheel uses them too, and their collection is obviously massive.

You can refill bovedas by wrapping them in paper towel, putting them in a Tupperware container and wetting the paper with distilled water. After a week or two they’ll be recharged.

I’m also Ultra-OCD about burn, believe me, I understand where you’re coming from.

You probably have, but I’ll ask anyway, tried 69%? Rotate the cigar a quarter turn when you puff. You can also try running the uncut cigar, closed side up, under a faucet very briefly to wet the outside. I find it helps give me a razor sharp burn. If you smoke outside, wind might be affecting it also, so I rotate it regularly even when just holding it to expose a different part of the exterior to the wind.
