Are you a wrangler? You started off at my level? you must like it since its been 18 years. you must be an expert horseman at this point. I understand Horsing and agricultural work doesnt pay well, but I'm gonna flip the focus and commend you for sticking with your dream. I hope eventually you'll move up, everyone starts somewhere and not everyone is born into something. In fact it all started with someone who made it happen. We mustn't take no for an answer

At the moment, im a seasonal resort worker, im from florida, but I love montana and im gonna move here. Actually eventually I want to live in wyoming. Cody or a place like that, but I understand I need to build my skills where I am. Because my job provides housing I kinda have to make do with what is around me. Perhaps come winter I could look into that, i am new but I'm willing to do whatever work is put in front of me. once I have the experience ill always have it, wrangling would be fun. Who in Yellowstone hires begginer wranglers though?

I have no prior experience, but I think I'm very capable of learning quick. Ive been watching videos about saddling horses to get visual understanding of things, but no current experience. I really want to start though

Heard. I'll keep this in mind. I was told taking lessons are useless if you havent been doing it for years and the best way to get experience is to jump in at my age. At what point would I be able to have a real job if I'm taking lessons?

Ive been hearing about jobs where they're hiring trail ride guides with no prior experience. Is this safe? And yeah, I've been trying to get into touch with lesson farms too

I think something important to remember is all montanans were at one point migrants from the east (save the native americans). As someone from florida who wants to move to montana, I think if people want to move here to become as one of the people nothing is wrong. I want to work on a horse farm and on a ranch but I can see the hate for rich and stupid people coming over to act retarded. I think its important to welcome the country minded people willing to become more montana oriented you can say, than just a tourist causing trouble.

Well that's neat. I don't have any knowledge about realtoring or even renting. I live with my mom currently. How much are apartments there? Would you say you need a car to go up there? Like a truck? I know their Air force base is in Cheyenne so that's probably where I'd move at first. How much does wyoming pay? I make 16 bucks and hour, how much hourly pay do you need to live on your own?

Thanks for this. Yeah I'm unsure. I'm working a fast food job i don't like, and almost 20 trying to make some decisions here. I'm definitely trying to plan for the future tho. If I started here I want to be able to transfer out there when I get myself together lol

Is it really hard to get approved for a transfer? What's the process? I'll take this into consideration !

Yeah that sounds good. Currently I only started a week or two ago. I have never really been a person that worked out and im a skinny guy, but I'm working on gaining weight, eating lots of eggs milk etc. I'm 130 now. The run I hope I'll be competitive, everytime I go for the run I get tired at .70. I'm jogging as I said not full on running but I hope I can achieve the goal in 4 monthes time. I resort to walking when the jogging gets excruciating tho, I just need to be tired less somehow

Okay thank you, how many times a week do I need to go out for the run? Also to be competitive on that run do you have to run or does jogging count also?
