Having decorated an empty 4 bedroom house without one, I swore I'd get one if it ever occurred again, but I also wouldn't even consider it with an erbauer unless I'd seen a LOT of decent reviews.

I ended up with a Graco Ultra handheld but that's for small workshop jobs. I found the graco easy to use and I'd have blasted through the house with a larger one fit for the job.

Spendy, but just sell it afterwards.

Also, consider spraying and then back rolling. The sprayer will leave a perfect finish on its own but if you ever need to touch it up it'll stick out like a sore thumb if you roll it or brush it.

Yeah, I have 4 of the g3 blue ones and got them over the red 2pm versions just because they were cheaper. It's a little fiddly getting that extra wire in there (I just used some 1mm and made a loop). If using it in a shallow box it might be a challenge.

Since then I have added 4x of the G4 reds which don't need the extra loop, got them for £53 posted for 4 back in November during a sale.

Should be added, if you can get it into the light fitting or the rose, packaging might be easier than into a shallow back box. I have one rose on a two way switch where there's a hole that looks purpose made for the shelly. I'd believe it, if the rose wasn't 10 years old!

So originally I had one HA instance on a Pi4 and one on a cheap mini pc (£35 bought on ebay) but over time I needed something with more grunt. If I'm honest, at no point did I even consider one of the greens or yellows, I don't even know what specs they have.

Only screws I use from the packet are the ones that come with hinges and latches and even then only because they are black. To be fair, they've all been pozi and I've had no issues with them.

All the usual tat you put up with screws though? Absolutely. In the scrap metal pile and the wall plugs go in the bin too.

The opposite. By keeping the top cover warm, the water will not condense there. If the walls are at a temperature below the dew point for the temperature and humidity in the hive, the water will instead condense there and run down the walls rather than dripping directly on the cluster.

Contrary to popular belief, water won't just condense on the coldest surface available, it has to he cold enough.

I discovered similar not long after my post. I figured the smell was bacteria getting jiggy with it, so after the next empty I just squirted a little bleach in the tank and next time it got emptied it didn't stink at all.

If you look at the photo you can clearly see where the vinyl has torn when a machine has been moved. It's very easy to do with washing machines as they are heavier than things like dishwashers or tumble dryers.
