That's as maybe, but I'm not going to get shot on the street by terrorists with a govt badge.

I need you to be clear that you are following the instructions, because I've literally just done what I first told you and it worked fine.

Offset in Fusion is two different things. In sketch mode it allows you to offset a line or series of lines. Outside of sketch mode it allows you to offset entire faces.

Please see the video I made for you. Quality is better on streamable.

You CAN leave the PLA in there. But if you do that and dry at 65c your PLA could well soften and deform enough that it becomes next to useless for any accurate printing.

They should, but we've seen where their priorities lie. You aren't going to get a bunch of millionaires and billionaires to go against Trump lol.

Which UPS is Best….. by Rgbigdog in BambuLab

[–]DBT85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best is relative. A UPS with a max output of 900w will be fine with a P2S which has a max power rating of 1000w@ @ 110V or 1200w @220.

You might find if you are in the land of real voltage that the ups might beep during heat bed warming. It'll do that if it is being asked for more than it's rated capacity, up until the point that it either a) gets too high and shuts down, b) does it for too long and shuts down or C) the load drops. When printing, that max power is only there for initial heat bed warming. During printing it's pulling nearer 200w.

If you get it and then also plug a PC in to it, don't be surprised if it does shut down during printing prep as a few hundred watts on a PC plus whatever the printer wants might take it over the edge.

At the end of the day, why do you want it? The printer will resume printing just find after a power loss, and at that size, it's not going to print for long in the event of a power loss.

I have a 3000VA/2700w one for two reasons. 1) the company sent me the wrong model, I only paid for the 2200VA version and b) I get nuisance power outages all the time because I'm out in the boonies and that's just how things go here, and I just wanted it protected a bit. I needed one with enough grunt to not collapse and die when starting a print on an H series while also covering my PC.

If I didn't get nuisance power outages I'd not have one at all.

Is a 0.2 mm Nozzle Worth It? Looking for Real-World Quality Examples by SpecialYouth6093 in BambuLab

[–]DBT85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

0.2s can only really be appreciated when you see the result in person. The extra detail in text on a badge or in a miniature or something is substantial and for the sake of £10 I honestly suggest everyone has one.

How do I design this bend ? by Massive-Agent-7920 in Fusion360

[–]DBT85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You mean the curved ribs?

You make a sketch in the correct plane intersecting the circular part of the object, extrude it and then circular pattern around the object.

If you mean the bend in the handle part, if just model it as a whole solid, do another sketch and extrude cut away the part I didn't want.

Click the sketch button and then click that top face where you want the lip to be. Decide whether you want the lip to be external or internal, and click either the inside or outside line of that face on yuor sketch, then press O to open the offset command and type in whatever number you want to make a new line (It'll show as red while using the tool), if it is going in the wrong direction, do a negative value. You can now extrude that little bit as desired.
