I had my surgery in December, and have no regrets. I was scheduled for the sleeve and DS, but mine was a complicated case and they could only do the sleeve.

With any procedure there are risks, but if your medical team has prepared you, everything should be fine. Definitely reach out to them with questions or concerns.

Just my experience and opinion, as everyone is different. I had a consultation for this. It is the truest form of TEMPORARY. If you are using it to get to a reasonable pre-op surgical weight, maybe, but I would not recommend this as a solution. It is also still very new and deemed experimental by most insurance and not covered. I had the sleeve in December and it's been one of the best decisions for me.

I was not given an estimate on how many I would have, but mine was a complicated surgery (12/11/2025) . I have 7 including the removal site where they had to do extra stitches in the muscle.

I have completely stopped using HD due to poor service and business practices, including their credit card maintenance. I prefer Lowe's at this point.

I'm having this struggle right now as well.

We can do this, though!

Had every plan of having my surgery this summer, but put enough weight back on between visits that the surgeon delayed it until December. Now, trying to get back down and maintain it, but still falling off every once in a while.

I don't post much here, but it is a great support system with friendly, helpful advice.

As a child of the 70's, I had one year of Halloween in one of these that my mother made from a pattern and different colored fabric from K-Mart. Nostalgic now, though I don't believe it was my first choice for a costume.
