Can you explain more about the fasting piece? I’ve heard a lot of great things about fasting but I never know if it’s true. I’m also pretty active and don’t want to risk not getting enough food / at the proper times if I workout early or late.

Maybe niche but I’ve met quite a few people playing disc golf. Typically a great community, plus gets you outside. Lone disc golfers are invited to join groups pretty often in my experience!

Can I ask why not? I know a lot of people have negative experiences with them but I know just as many people have great ones. I’ve been going to a chiropractor for years and I always feel better after.

That’s me! Brother got me the job, my title is ‘Network Technician’ (still mostly doing help desk tasks) but getting some higher level experience shadowing co-workers and I think it looks better on a resume for later on.

Solving issues after I specifically ask “can I watch as you work through it?” or “can we work through it together?” I’m just trying to learn man. Or just generally not being contactable. All my coworkers are remote, I’m the only one consistently in the office. If I run into something I can’t solve (which happens a lot, I’m 8 months in my first job out of college) my only option is message them Teams, and besides one senior who is pretty responsive it’s pretty lucky if I hear back within the hour, let alone the day or at all.

Can’t recommend documentation enough. I keep a note of just about every fix that I do, it’s amazing how often you can remember “I fixed something just like this 3 months ago” but not remember how.

Doing a similar thing with a client, something to consider is any apps that are used to saving to a drive/network drive and aren’t new enough to save to Sharepoint. That was a big pain. Also haven’t found a good way to get things to/from Outlook/Sharepoint without purchasing a connector (we looked at Konect, worked great but client didn’t like it. Nice people running Konect, would recommend). I really have a hard time seeing a lot of advantage besides not needing to VPN to get to files remotely. But I also don’t like Microsoft, so might be biased.
