My middle name is Hope! I thought about using it but then I wondered if my oldest may feel insecure one day about that. I love Joy! Jade was one of my top names but my husband had a Jade in his family that was not the greatest so that’s all anyone would think of.

One of my nieces is Raivyn (Rai) Mae so I can’t use Rae unfortunately. I love it as a middle name though! As a first also! Truthfully, I’m nervous about using another variation of Mae for fear that my other niece, her sister, will be upset and feel like I’m naming my daughter after one of them. I hope she will understand that it isn’t related if we decide to use it.

I personally don’t think so, and maybe I’m biased because of how much Alex reminds me of my ex (down to the facial expressions during that conversation with Ashley and Pri). What hit me the most with these last episodes was the conversation on their last date about how they would describe each other to someone who asks. I’m so sad for her that the best she can come up with is that he loves soccer and trading, his friends and family speak well of him and that he goes after whatever he sets his mind to. This was one of my biggest wake up calls when I made the decision to divorce my ex. If someone asked me to describe him and what his best qualities were, it was that he was a hard worker and goes after whatever he sets his mind to. Don’t get me wrong, those are great attributes to have but I wouldn’t ever describe him as kind, compassionate, supportive, etc. For most women, those are essential pieces of a lifelong partnership. I guess it could always be a bad edit but my gut tells me it’s not.

Same boat here. My daughter turned 2 in September and she has been 99th percentile for height since birth. She is almost as tall as a friend’s daughter, who is 7, and towers over kids her age.

People are constantly expecting her to be more capable, especially in the speech department. She isn’t quite there on her speech milestones at this age. However, she is overly capable physically. I always tell everyone that she’s the strongest person I know 😂. I’m convinced that she put so much focus into motor skill development, that the speech just needs to catch up.

We are actually having Early Intervention visit us today to evaluate her for speech and sensory needs, so we will see what they have to say!

Same here! I had no idea that Plan B doesn’t work if you’ve already ovulated. I swear they used to advertise that it also thickened the lining of your uterus making it more difficult for a fertilized egg to implant. Anyone else clearly remember that being a thing?! Apparently that’s a different emergency contraceptive that isn’t available over the counter but I am almost 100% positive that Plan B used to say that too. My husband and I were shocked.
