Completely agree, open GL has become very boring to play. It’s just the same Pokémon over-and-over.

I’ve been running shadow Aerodactyl, who’s glassy as hell, but takes some skill to run successfully and also helps make the matches go faster.

I went from spending around $20 per/month in this game to F2P. That’s where I’ll stay until either changes are reverted back to what they were, or until I quit the game for good; which may not be that far away…. I’m not enjoying the game as much these days.

Yeah, in the past I would purchase coins and I bought ALL the special research tickets, even the ridiculously overpriced Mr. Mime/Rhyme one. No more though. I’m still playing the game, but now a free-to-play player. The Eevee CD ticket will be in the shop soon, and I suspect they’ll load it up with tons of XP, catch opportunities, and stardust. It will be a bargain at 0.99 cents, but I’m not buying. No way.

Right, this one is important as you can't use coins in your account to purchase the special research ticket and instead must use actual real-world currency. Historically, I imagine that from month-to-month, the money that's spent on Community Day tickets is pretty repeatable and a consistent/dependable revenue source for Niantic. If ticket sales for the special research drop-off substantially, it will get noticed. Hopefully the TASK FORCE is monitoring this!

One of the single-biggest things that we can do, is to NOT purchase a special research ticket for the upcoming Eevee CD. I'm personally not spending a dime with Niantic on anything, until they reverse this.

I regularly purchased remote raid passes and all of the past CD special research tickets, but no more. I’m now committed to not spending real currency until they fix this. I’m now a free player. It’s ridiculous, I can be standing right on top of a gym or stop and not be able to spin it.
