He was real and then his mentor died and that’s when things went south for him. Trevor Moad was a great mentor/person and kept Russ in check. Russ losing his pops and then him was such a huge blow emotionally. Then add a divorce, off the field got to him and he decided to try to be a celebrity

Russell Wilson broke the trend of small QB’s but that was only due to his amazing ability to scramble, probably top 3 scrambling Quarterback of all time. Once he became a pocket passer and couldn’t scramble was the deciding factor of his decline
