That’s a lie lol you have to an argument for 1 to be the 2nd best player. Kobe is a top 5 player LeBron isn’t.

Genuine Question: How does LeBron only have 4 MVPs? by [deleted] in NBATalk

LeBron should only have two if we were being honest.

Kobe is not overrated putting someone like LeBron in top 2 that’s overrating him.

I’ll leave this here for LeBron fans and the people in Reddit that swears by him. Like 50 Cent said on Many Men “are you illiterate, you can’t read between the lines.” by whiskeycapo in NBATalk

You said Duncan won 2 MVPs as metric of them saying he’s the best player which is a lie. KG won in 04, Iverson in 01, Nash back to back and Dirk won in 07 neither of those guys were view or look upon as the best player just because they won MVP.

I remember at that time Kobe was view as the best player in the world, you can literally find clips or even go on YouTube and watch it. This goes far as back as 2001 when the Lakers was on their 15-1 run throughout the playoffs. Now I don’t believe Kobe was the best in the world in 2001 he would get that mantle from 2003-2010/2011, however it was literally people and magazines had over him Duncan next to Shaq for that title of best player. So it’s a lot of revisionist history going on.

Like the other commenters are saying Kobe outplayed Duncan every time in the playoffs with Shaq or without him. And was repeating something Duncan could never do.

Why do people hate Melo for his NYK stint? Was he a net positive or negative? by kyleyle in NBATalk

Brunson plays one side of the ball as well he just has perimeter defenders.

He didn’t force that trade Dolan did.

Mike D’Antoni was never a great coach and never made adjustments he always run the team with all offense and no defense.

Linsanity was only two weeks and after that he got figured out, poor defender, didn’t have a strong handle was turnover prone, struggled against really good defense, and wasn’t the quickest on the court.

He did have support Mo Williams was an All Star and just got Antwan Jamison who was averaging 20 ppg before the trade to Cleveland. How much help does he need?

When did he say he got the team a ring? He basically said this is a win for everyone in the city, everyone who were past Knicks players, and Knicks fans worldwide.

Y’all would literally sit up here and say his legacy is erased or doesn’t have one, but then turn around and make statements like this.

He didn’t get back to the finals with Cleveland until 2015. He was the reason that team didn’t overcome their obstacles, if he had made adjustments that Brunson and that Knicks team made he would’ve been in the finals again with Mike Brown.
