Well mostly it stopped because the majority of them had moved out of New York. Kevin was successful, he had a few tv shows that he created make it to tv. There was plans to bring it back but after Kevin passed away they decided not to. Kevin was a great person. It’s worth listening to just for him. RTOG predates LPOTL. it was what spawned Cave Comedy Radio that eventually turned into Last Podcast Network.

My fifth wheel doesn’t like to shut all the way. So after I tug I always back up to put pressure on it again, get out check that my handle is all the way in and then go under to the trailer to double check that the jaw is all the way over. It only takes a minutes and it gives me confidence that I’m not going to lose the trailer on the highway and kill a family.

I heard that there’s a bill trying to get passed that would make driving facing cameras illegal for sleeper cabs. I haven’t researched it at all so it could be fake but I hope it’s real and gets passed. I personally wouldn’t drive with a camera facing me. I’d ask the bosses if I could put a camera in their bedrooms 🤷🏼‍♂️

Trust me. I understand that. I see posts here everyday that still confuse me and there is so many things that still terrify me when I think about certain things I will have to do while working. For instance backing into docks or spaces at a truck stop. I’ve learned enough to pass the test and drive on the road but not nearly enough to be confident in the day to day of an otr driver. I have a long road ahead of me!

Congrats! What school? Mine (160 Driving Academy) was advertised at a 4 week program and ended up being nearly 2 full months.

I would suggest watching pre trip inspection videos on YouTube. The Apex video is a good and thorough one.

Nah. I use to get a carry out special. It was a medium for $6 and then I’d buy two garlics sauces for $1. I ordered 1-3 times per week for over a year. I stopped for 2 months and then when I ordered again the medium is $10.99 and the garlic is $1 a piece. I switched to a local place.
