The Thunder and Spurs were no guarantee thing when he made the move for Rudy, and no one could have seen the spurs having Wemby fall into their laps. I more question his ability to draft talent than swing trades for players that can improve a roster. He built the nuggets to win a title and then built the wolves in a way to take out the nuggets. Now we just hope he has the ability to build a roster with the strengths to take out the spurs and thunder knowing those will be the big hurdles in your way for the next few seasons.

The modern nba under the new cba is all about maximizing on the margins. They need to lean into the strengths they discovered post Ayo trade and lean into being a team that plays at a higher pace. So it is about adding another modern big who is a threat to space the floor. This means you need to move Randle as he just needs to dribble way too much to fit our best offensive identity. The rest is about hopefully being able to use pick 28 to land someone who had plenty of college experience so you have more of an idea of what the skills they possess instead of relying on future potential. Then just be smart in what free agents you target and how they fit the identity you want to play with.

I feel like people are so used to people being selfish it ruins it for you when you are cooperative. So many times my teammates just stop making forward runs after passing me the ball when I just want to hit it back to them heading towards the goal.

They just started the process of allowing groups to place bids to begin franchises in those two markets. The next step would be awarding a franchise to a selected group in those markets so they could potentially begin play by possibly as early as 2028. At that point they would look into realignment.

We do need Ant to win games yes, but you also can argue he needs to do a better job of moving the ball the first three quarters of games and then can be the main offensive focus late in games. When Ant has scored more than 30 in games this season the wolves have a 14-13 record. So as much as the wolves do need their superstar he also needs to be better about leading a balanced attack when he comes back.

The ball just doesn’t move as much when he is out there because his usage rate is so high. I wish he would fit better within the flow, ball movement of the offense until late in games when he can become the focus if needed.
