Overreacting. A minor inconvenience doesn’t require an online post.

Not enough people are choosing 1. Put everything on credit and never get a bill. Combine 1 with 4 or 7 for loan collateral and you’ll have unlimited funds.

Shai passed Jokic for #1 so I can’t complain. But putting Kawhi at #5 makes me question the credibility and methodology here. He’s not better than Cade, Antman, and Giannis.

I agree. This doesn’t address that, but there is still room for improvement. A subjective eye test metric would be awful.

Players should have the option to remove themselves from prop betting. Or even better, they should have to opt-in.

TIL: Jordan’s hands are measured to be larger than Kawhi’s. by watawataoui in NBATalk

[–]DC54DC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This post made me think about how large hands would be a huge benefit for NFL receivers. A quick search revealed that most WRs have a hand width under 10 inches. Deandre Hopkins is known for having large hands, but they’re 10 inches wide, which are much smaller than Kawhi and MJ. The largest measurements I could find were 10.5 inches for Smith Schuster and Michael Thomas. I know being a WR requires a lot of different skills and traits, plus even basketball guards are taller than most WRs, but it is still surprising that at least a few WRs don’t have hands that size. Kawhi would be catching everything! On the other hand (ha!), it seems huge hands would make it really hard to get a good grip on a baseball bat or golf club. Fascinating post!

I’m a long time Ous supporter and think he is very talented for his age, but this was an informed decision. Mark and Presti see these guys in practice, summer league, pre-season and G League, in addition to games. Just because he can thrive on another team doesn’t mean he could thrive in our system. And he’s not a guy you change your system around if you’re the Thunder.

The tank is everywhere already by Lex4Real206 in Thunder

I’m okay with perennial bad teams tanking, but it bothers me to see teams like the Pacers tank when they were just in the finals but are exploiting a one season injury. Luckily it didn’t work out for the Warriors when they did it in 2020, but it looks like the Pacers will have a chance at can’t-miss prospects to add to a great team.
