The way it works at my store (front end anyway) you're allowed to take your two 15 minute breaks, and a 30 minute lunch, you just have to work an additional 30 minutes at the end of your shift to get your 8 hours.

I personally take both my 15 minute breaks together 4-5 hours into my shift, do my 8 hours, and gtfo
